Children’s National Medical Center Pediatric Residents Impacting Policy, and in the News!

image002On October 7th, 2013, CNMC residents joined the AAP’s Committee on Federal Government Affairs in a meaningful day on Capitol Hill to showcase the negative impact of the government shutdown on children.  The messaging focused on the importance of government-supported nutrition (through WIC), early education (through Head Start), and critical vaccines, including seasonal flu (through Vaccines for Children/ CDC).
