Free CME Training in Perinatal Mental Health
The Maternal Mental Health Program at Mary’s Center has received a grant to provide training and education in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) to professionals throughout Washington, DC. Trainings can be arranged on-site at your workplace, and can be delivered in a one-, two-, four-, or six-hour session; or multiple sessions, depending upon your preference.
The lead trainer, Lynne McIntyre, is a nationally recognized expert in the field. Trainees will learn about the different types and presentations of PMADs, risk factors, incidence and impact on the mother and her child(ren), and best practices for screening, referral and treatment. Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
If you, your practice, or your organization are interested in a training, please contact Lynne McIntyre at firstname.lastname@example.org or 202-545-2061.
