Are you—or is someone you know—undertaking groundbreaking policy research to address inequality? If the answer is yes, The Century Foundation needs your help.
We are conducting a nationwide search for the best, most innovative young thinkers under age 30 to apply for the Janice Nittoli “Forward Thinking” Award. The winner of the award will receive $7,500 to write a paper on an innovative strategy for alleviating poverty, which will be published and publicized by TCF.
Interested in sharing your own ideas on combating economic inequality? Here is what you need to know:
- To apply, please submit a CV, writing sample, and a proposal under 1,000 words describing (1) your recommended strategy, (2) the scope of research available examining related policies to be synthesized in the paper, and (3) the extent to which you have already studied the topic.
- Email your submission to NittoliAward@tcf.org on or before April 20, 2015.
- A winner will be selected by May 31, 2015, with the applicant to complete the paper by February 29, 2016.
The “Forward Thinking” Award is named for TCF’s former president, Janice Nittoli—a passionate advocate for the underserved and disadvantaged.
